Past Updates

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing break! After the incredible performance with the 7th and 8th graders in Spokane, I spent a week relaxing and rejuvenating on the couch!

March lessons:
No lessons after 4pm on 3/4 (all-district concert)

Upcoming events:
This Friday (2/28) is Solo & Ensemble at IMS! Your student should know their times for solos and ensembles. Please let me know if you have any questions about the event.

Next Tuesday (3/4) is the all-district concert at the MIHS Gym! We are using the big gym so that for the first time ever, we can have all grades (5-12) represented at one concert! You will really be able to see the progression that these students make during their time in orchestra in MISD. It will be a fun night!

As some of you know, I have joined the Rainbow City Orchestra and I am assistant conductor for this concert cycle! Our concert is 3/9 at Benaroya Hall and I will be conducting a piece as well as playing in the orchestra. It will be a fun program of tv and movie music. I hope you will come if you can! We are also offering a free encore presentation at the Seattle Public Library on 3/30. Tickets are available here

Thank you for your continued support of your student's musical journey!

I hope to keep the schedule similar to what it is now but let me know if you need to switch times in order to make coming to IMS a possability.

We are based out of Tacoma, Washington and accept musical instruments in any condition. Often small parts of violins or cellos may break, but can find new life with a bridge, end pin or tuning peg from a donor instrument.
Your donation of instruments or funds helps us bring the joy of music to those who may need assistance in pursuing their musical ambitions.. Plus, all contributions are tax-deductible, allowing you to support a cause you love while receiving a valuable tax benefit. Join us in making a difference today!
